Josh always had a passion for sports and fitness, growing up locally he played baseball all four years of high school and graduated from Esperanza High School in 1998. He then went on to Santa Ana College for 1 year before signing to play professional baseball with the Anaheim Angels in 1999. He played for the Angels for 3 seasons before being traded to the Chicago White Sox. After 7 years of pro ball he transitioned into the scouting field for 2 years with the White Sox and then for then Pittsburgh Pirates. After his scouting contract ended, Josh decided to follow his love and passion for fitness and achieved his internationally recognized Personal Trainer Certification through the National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association. Shortly after achieving his certification, he relocated back to Southern California to pursue his career in fitness. We are thrilled to have Josh on our team at Private Fitness, his innovative training style, wit, humor, and genuinely caring attitude makes working out with him easy!
